My first work with guitars was playing live music in the early 2010’s. Around the same time, I took up an interest in repairing guitars, which soon became my focus, and overtook my work performing in a professional capacity. My early career in lutherie largely focussed on repairs, setups, and restoration of all types of guitars, both new and dating back as early as the 19th century. This background has let me see which designs, materials, and construction methods have stood the test of time and produce the tonal qualities that I enjoy. From this foundation based in tradition, I blend in modern features to my instruments that enhance the playing experience. My aim with East Guitars is to deliver a superior instrument of exceptional craftsmanship that can be enjoyed not only today, but for generations to come.
